Objective:
Y2:Add or subtract mentally a onedigit number or a multiple of 10 to or from any twodigit number; use practical and informal written methods to add and subtract twodigit numbers

Objective:
Y1: Use infomal methods for addition of a one digit number, or 10 to a one or two digit number.
Y2: Represent repeated addition and arrays as multiplication and... repeated subtraction as division.
Use practical and informal methods to add and subtract twodigit numbers.

A numberline demonstrator. You can take away, calculate subtraction as the difference or complete division calculations via repeated subtraction.

An activity for Year 1 and 2 children, adding single digit numbers by bridging through 10.

Will only bridge through 10 and no other multiples of 10. Intended as a starting point for teachers. First keypad will not allow the players to jump straight to the answer.
