Bean Measuring

Measuring plants up to 100cm.

Learning objectives:

  • Y2: choose and use appropriate standard units to estimate and measure length/height in any direction (m/cm); mass (kg/g); temperature (°C); capacity (litres/ml) to the nearest appropriate unit, using rulers, scales, thermometers and measuring vessels
Click one of the seeds on the menu to get started.
Click the waterdrop to water the plant.
Click the sun to give it sunshine and make it grow.
Measure the height of the plant and enter the value into the keypad.
There is a guide you can slide up and down to help you.
If you get it right the height will appear in the table.
To make the plant grow again click the waterdrop again.
